Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before booking lessons with MAXX Driving School.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking lessons or using any services provided by MAXX Driving School ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not book lessons with us.
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings are subject to instructor availability. Payment is due at the time of booking for block bookings, or per lesson for individual sessions. We accept card payments and cash. Prices are subject to change with notice. Block booking discounts apply to advance purchases only.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at the full lesson rate. If your instructor needs to cancel, we will reschedule at no cost to you or provide a full refund.
4. Lesson Requirements
You must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence and bring it to every lesson. You must be fit to drive - not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Your instructor reserves the right to cancel a lesson if they believe you are unfit to drive, with the lesson charged in full.
5. Use of Instructor's Vehicle
The instructor's vehicle is provided for lessons and may be used for your practical driving test. You are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle through negligence or reckless behaviour during your lesson. The vehicle must not be used for any purpose other than the agreed lesson.
6. Intensive Courses
Intensive course bookings require a non-refundable deposit. The balance is due before the course begins. We recommend passing your theory test before starting an intensive course. Practical test fees are not included in course prices unless stated.
7. Test Bookings
While we assist with booking your practical test, the DVSA manages test availability and scheduling. We are not responsible for test cancellations by the DVSA. If your test is cancelled by the DVSA, we will help you rebook at no additional instructor fee.
8. Refund Policy
Block bookings: unused lessons are refundable minus an administrative fee of £25. Intensive courses: deposits are non-refundable. Individual lessons: refundable if cancelled with 48+ hours notice. Refunds are processed within 14 days.
9. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing professional, respectful instruction. We expect the same from our students. Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour towards instructors or staff may result in termination of lessons without refund.
10. Liability
MAXX Driving School is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services. We are fully insured for driving instruction. We are not responsible for personal items left in instructor vehicles. Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of lessons booked.
11. Complaints
We take complaints seriously. If you have a concern, please contact us at info@maxxdrivingschool.co.uk. We will respond within 5 working days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact the DVSA or the Independent Driving Schools Association.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
